Fernando Linares Correa

Colombian baritone Fernando Linares-Correa finishes his Master of Music studies in 2018 at the Tilburg Conservatory in The Netherlands immediately after his Music bachelor at the National University of Colombia, showing a remarkable talent for fast learning and integrating vocal technique and musicality after following a previous career as an economist and researcher. During his time in his home country Fernando participates in productions like the contemporary opera “Atzar” by Catalan composer A. Guinovart in the role of David, “Les Mamelles de Tiresias” by Poulenc in the role of Presto and in the grand zarzuela “El Castillo Misterioso” by XIX century Colombian composer J. M. Ponce de León, as well as numerous opera productions in the Colombian National Opera Choir.

After finishing his studies in the Netherlands Fernando has been a part of numerous and diverse productions with the vocal ensemble Consensus Vocalis over the last five years, as well as theater productions like “Lev” with theater Sonnevanck, “Kaapdiegoeiekoop” with theater Silbersee and several opera productions of the Nationale Nederlandse Reisopera.
