Ariel Sin Yu Lee is a mezzo-soprano from Hong Kong. She obtained her master’s degree in voice at the HKU Utrecht Conservatory in 2019. Ariel has an broad musical and theatrical interest.
Ariel sings in Consensus Vocalis, Dutch touring opera, Opera Spanga and the Bach Choir of the Netherlands. Ariel participated in the talent development programme of Netherlands Chamber Choir, NKK NXT in 2020-2021, and toured with Wende Snijders in “De Wildernis” in NL and BE.
Ariel is also the singer and co-founder of the artist collective Fire is Scary. The collective presents new original music with visual arts and theater elements. The collective received funding support from South Korea, Switzerland and the Netherlands for making exhibtions, performances, music recordings and artistic research.
Ariel also sings as a soloist in various oratorio, opera and chamber music performances.
