Kitty Lai, a soprano from Hong Kong now residing in the Netherlands, holds a Masters in Early Music Vocal Studies from the Royal Conservatory The Hague. Under the guidance of renowned artists such as Jill Feldman, Rita Dams, Noa Frenkel, Dorothée Mields, Peter Kooij and Michael Chance, she has cultivated a profound interest in Renaissance and Baroque music.
She is a regular at the Hong Kong Early Music Festival, and was selected as Young Music Maker by Radio Television Hong Kong. As an ensemble singer, Kitty works with ensembles like Collegium Vocale Gent with Philippe Herreweghe and Consensus Vocalis. Kitty also embraces the challenges of contemporary music through collaborations with modern composers like Huba de Graaff.
In all her endeavours, Kitty maintains a professional demeanour, grounded in gratitude for the opportunities she has and a humble dedication to her craft.
